Throwback Thursday

A's puffs at 1.5 years old. She also had a little one in the back because it wouldn't reach the top.

  5. Omg. A is so adorable. Yes it is amazing how much a childs hair can grow from age 1 to 4. I love her puffs. Do people always ask you if you used any growth aids because they can't believe how much her hair has grown so quickly? Man, I miss my lil men at that age.

  8. Too cute! Nikki, I have to send you a huge thank you. Yesterday, I tried the conditioner/finger detangle while washing my two girls' hair yesterday. It made the wide tooth just glide through their hair when we were done. I tried banding their hair before bed but before I could braid it, they went in for the swim lesson. You truly are a gem of valuable information. Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you! A and lil man are blessed babies to have you and we are too!

  11. I can't stop looking at these pics of A. She is sooo cute. I forgot to ask you...did A's hair texture change as she became older? It looks like her hair was thinner with a loose curl.

Wow. At what age would you say, her hair was very easy to take care of? I say with my oldest...from the time he was a baby until 5 years old. His hair as a newborn was so straight but thin but alot to the point you could not see his scalp..it looked like he had a wrap. Within 2 months his hair was still straight but half way down he had these big loose curls. Although his hair is still easy to care for ( water/conditioner spritz and he's good to go) but since his hair is not a loose curl pattern is a 3b/3c from what someone told me, I have to be extra extra careful with detangling because it can easily break. That's the only thing is the difference in detangling for us now.

  14. dimples, when she was a baby it was easy for me. lol I was so clueless that once she really got hair, even a little, it was somewhat of a struggle for me. Now that I know what I'm doing, it's very easy. I feel like I have a great routine that works for her, great products that work for her, so it's smooth sailing now! :)

  15. my daughters hair keep changing texture the older they get also.. Amirah's just gets thicker every year so far... although at 3 i'm not sure how much thicker it will progress to now.. but i find it's easier now that i too have learnt how to care for it.. she will not be left to have only puffs from now on .. AMEN!!!

  16. I found that my daughter's hair texture has changed since birth as well...it was stick straight up until about age 2 months, then got curlier/wavier until age 3.
