I haven't been doing much with A's hair since my little brother has been in the hospital. This week she wore banded ponytails. Basically you just put ponytail holders down the entire ponytail, use as many or as little as you would like. Be creative and add different colored ponytail holders, barrettes on the ends, or bows on the top. These are not the best, they took less than 5 minutes, but I wanted to share anyway.
I split her hair down the middle the next day and did two banded ponytails. I braided the ends. Notice the crooked part? I told you, less than 5 minutes! lol :P
I will be replying to emails and such this weekend. Thank you all for your support. <3
What has been going on with your little ones hair lately? Anything new? New style? Tried a new product?
Hope all is well with you all!
I hope everything is well with u n your family. I have no time today to fix fancy hair. This is great and fast. thanx....
ReplyDeleteI hope your little brother feels better soon! :(
ReplyDeleteI used to do this to my own hair when I was little! It's so cute on A, she has such gorgeous thick hair!
We've been doing mostly simple things around here, too. And trying to play with different ideas of how to keep her hair from becoming a tangled rats nest every.single.time. we are in the car!! Ahhh! Covering the carseat with a smooth silk cover doesn't even help. yikes!
That hairdo really stretches her hair out. It looks so long! It is very cute and it's nice that it's a quick one. <><
ReplyDeleteHope everything is going ok for you all. Still praying for you guys.
ReplyDeleteI love banding my sons hair when I need something fast to do to his ponytail. I only keep his up until it's time for bed...afraid it may cause breakage because he's a wild sleeper.
A's hair is pretty, thick and long. If you braid her hair when you take the ponytail down...her hair will hang way down her back with minimum shrinkage for at least a day because banding helps stretch the hair.

ReplyDeleteThis hairdo really stretched My little girl's hair out, she really liked it. I've been sick for 3 days and don't have the energy to braid. Check it out at http://mylittlerascals-letty.blogspot.com/
Thank you Nikki.
I did this to my daughter's hair for the past 2 days and she loves it!! It's definitely for those times when I can't do all of the ponytails...thanks.
ReplyDeletesometimes it doesn't have to be fancy.
ReplyDeleteMy family is continuing to keep your family in their prayers.

I was excited to find your blog. I have been winging it on hairstyles with my daughter and am struggling to find products that we like. I just started a family blog and will be posting her weekly hairstyles.
ReplyDeleteCute and simple
