A came home today and told me someone was touching her hair. I asked her what she said. "Don't touch my hair!" Yes, with the finger shaking and all.
A don't play!! lol If anyone touches her hair they will get the same response as above. She's not very nice about it, but can you blame her? :P
We don't want random hands in the hair. Definitely don't want a scissor accident happening.
I can't say I blame " Don't touch her hair" Lets hope they got the message. LOL she's too cute
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny, good for you cutie. I'm glad to hear that she stands up for herself, especially when you aren't able to be with her:) My daughter Natale' has also had similar issues with other little kids. Natale' has told me of several occasions that someone had touched her hair or her beads, etc. I just ask her how she handled it and reassure her that it's wrong, people can be rude, but that she's doing the right thing by speaking up. I have also had things happen while we're in a store, people commenting on my kids hair, "Oh, look at those cute curls", and try to touch their head. It is crazy to me how rude some people can be. We just got to set them straight:)
ReplyDeleteYou know...I don't blame her one bit. I also hate it when random (or not so random) people attempt to put their hands in my hair. I've had to check a few people myself. High five to you A...you're such a cutie pie! Mom, you're definitely doing a great job with her :O)
ReplyDeleteLMAO!! You tell them lil mama!!! xoxxoxo
ReplyDeletethe hair is serious business. keep 'em straight, A.
ReplyDeleteThat's cute. A is keeping them in line.
ReplyDeleteI love the finger shaking! My girls get totally offended when they tell someone not to touch their hair and the person doesn't apologize. Good for A for being so direct and clear!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Can't say I blame her. People always touch my hair too and I can't stand it!! LOL!!
ReplyDeletei had a issue when i was a kid getting my hair cut because of jelousy and i will make sure my daughter does not have the same issue, kids can be cruel and i dont blame "A" at all lol
ReplyDeleteLOL, I heard that! She totally needs this shirt.

Adorable! Tell em girl!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are teaching our two year old about this right now! Some people just don't understand, but our kids need to know that it's o.k. to say no when people (adults or children) are invading their space!
ReplyDeletelol Thanks ladies! I agree, kiddos need to speak up too. :)
ReplyDelete@Bar B, That shirt is too funny! :D
Lol. She's the cutest. I don't blame her. My oldest who was about her age use to get mad when people would grab a handful of his hair, he would snatch his head away. I told him don't do that because it may rip his hair and beads out, just ask them not to touch your hair. He would get so offended because people would grab his hair and ask him if it's real. I would laugh and say yes..choose any braid and I would take the beads off to show you. I know I didn't have to do that but it was the way they would be all in his scalp looking. It shut them up. I get that with all my boys but more so now with my 4 year old. I have even let him wear an afro and people (some were the same ol folks) would still ask if that's all his hair. Like Omg you have got to be kidding me.
ReplyDeleteThats right A...tell em
This is a much better and cuter shirt. I hear she might make kid tees too. http://www.thedirtyartist.com/da1.html
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I hope Aaliyah reacts that way too! That's actually one of my biggest fears (3more years to go) that someone will have a scissor/gum accident!
ReplyDelete"Don't touch my hair" she's so cute, but I know where shes coming from!
ReplyDeleteCool girl, it's also very cute.
ReplyDeleteOMG I just had someone touch my afro the other night and I nearly beat them down. Seriously what is wrong with people?? I don't like people touching my hair because my sister had a scissors "accident" in elementary school.
