Cornrow Rockstar Mohawk

If your child thinks they are a rockstar (like A) then this is the perfect style for your little one!

This style can take between 1 1/2-2 hours. I split her hair down the middle (remember, your part will not be visisble so it doesn't have to be perfect) and tied one side off, then I started cornrowing. I rotated from a straight cornrow, to criss cross cornrows until I got to the top, then I started on the other side. Remember, if you do not know how to cornrow, check out this website. I learned how to cornrow from their simple instructions!

And of course, if you have rockstar hair, then you have to have a rockstar outfit and rockstar attitude! lol I took A up to this graffiti Madagascar themed wall and took a few pictures of her. It was definitely a fun day.

    I love this one right here. I did my second son's hair the same way last october but I braided his to the ends and put beads on them, I forgot to take pictures of it.

    Awesome....D is going to try the mohawk next on Nati, he just braided it so hopefully we can get it in before the week ends. (YES, I'm not going to learn to braid. Haha) But I learned to bead somewhat...haha.

    oh, no. i also have to worry about whether my girls want to be rockstars. say it ain't so. i've got enough things to worry about. of course, this is a wonderful hairstyle for those little rockers.

    SO incredibly adorable! I have to say... your cornrows and braids are so inspiring! I tried them on my little one's hair this week!     super super cute.. i love this style A looks stunning.. my daughter loves her fro hawk as well... is there any other hair type that is more versatile than wavy, kinky, curly??
