Sesame Street posted the original version of the adorable I Love My Hair Video, check it out and share it! A has constantly been asking me for her "favorite I love my hair song". :)
that is just too cute! i am so glad to see a video like that geared towards our babies that dont have silky straight hair like so many of thier classmates do. bravo to ss for promoting curly/kinky/coily hair.
I've seen this clip all over the natural hair blog-o-sphere and am in love with it!
I have a natural hair channel on youtube and received a message with the number of the woman who thought up this LOVELY children's piece. I called her immediately to thank her. She said she really appreciates all of the feedback (she's been getting a lot, apparently). She also said that it would be great if we could spread the word to email our feelings using the address below. This way, their corporation has a written record of our thoughts, which will hopefully inspire more of these positive images of natural hair and Black culture in general.
We love comments! Please do not use our blog to advertise or promote anything without our permission. Also, remember this is a children's blog so lets keep it friendly! Thank you.
That is sooo beautiful. It is catchy too lol
