A's hair was in a simple banded style with two cornrows in the front for about 3 days. I used Bee Mine Luscious Moisturizer to band her hair. On the 4th day I removed all of the ponytail holders and the bands created a really cool wavy look. Sort of something like you would get from one of those hair crimpers. So, instead of banding her hair back up I decided to just let her wear it down. Don't you love accidental styles?
This is what her hair looked like before removing the ponytail holders:
What's going on with your child's hair lately?

ReplyDeleteI love that long hair. My daughter's hair is only that long when I stretch it out straight! I really like that little hat!
ReplyDeleteAw so cute! I mean, really pretty! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWe've had tons of rain. The girls have been rocking buns & ponytails. :O)
That is a gorgeous "accident"!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has been wearing small box braids. I have them styled into two pigtails in the top, and hanging freely in the back with pink and white barettes on the braids. The braids have now been in for about a 5-6 days. I'll probably remove the braids on Wednesday and give her another style. Maybe cornrows to the side with a braidout, or something very simple.
ReplyDeleteI love banded styles. I know banding is really or stretching, but I like it as a style because it allows you to add color (the bands) without using barettes, isn't damaging, and it is quick. I haven't found and banded styles that I like on my daughter yet.
ReplyDeleteThat came out really really cute! I'm getting ready to take my daughter's braids down so I haven't really been doing too much other than keeping it moisturized.

This style looks so French! It is super chic and I can't believe how evenly the bands met up throughout the style. I know if I tried it would be all uneven. Great style and cute outfit A!
