Cornrow Heart with Three Strand Twists

Photobucket

I did this style on A yesterday for her Valentine party at school. The only product I used was unrefined shea butter mix virgin coconut oil. If you remember the Valentine's Day Shopping post then you can see I only ended up using two of the little bows I bought from The Children's Place. I have a habit of buying two packs of everything, even though I never seem to use the other pack.

You're probably wondering how to parted the heart in her hair. Check out this post. To put it simply, you just act as if you are drawing a heart on paper, only you're using a comb in hair. lol That probably doesn't help but it's true. After parting the heart I parted a little hair from the inside of the heart so I can add cornrows around the heart. I used snaps at the ends of her three strand twists to hold the beads.
